Walt Secord: I’ll be ‘voting no’ on voluntary assisted dying in NSW

NSW Shadow Minister for Police Walt Secord says he will be one of the “few” Labor MPs that’ll be “voting no” on the bill for voluntary assisted dying.

“I’m on the rural and regional health inquiry, people in regional areas have no access to palliative care,” Mr Secord told Sky News host Alan Jones.

“I’m a strong supporter of palliative care.

“I believe how we treat people in the last days of their lives is how we judge ourselves as a society.”
