Victoria has recorded 1036 new and 12 new deaths today, taking the total number of active cases to 22,013.
It is the lowest daily number the state has marked since September 28, when 929 new cases were recorded.
Currently more than 700 Victorians are in hospital with the virus, including 128 in intensive care.
As of today, 80.4 per cent of eligible residents aged 16 and over have been fully vaccinated against the virus, while 92.5 per cent have had one dose of a vaccine.
The 12 deaths recorded today range from people aged in their 50s to people aged in their 90s.
The state government has released advice for families celebrating Halloween today, noting that children aged under 12 are not vaccinated so being aware of COVID-19 principles is important.
Trick-or-treaters are advised to stay outside of homes, keep their distance and clean their hands.
Health advice is that homes should only offer individually wrapped treats.
