Unvaccinated travellers banned from Northern Territory from Monday

Northern Territory Chief Minister Michael Gunner has announced unvaccinated travellers will be banned from the NT from Monday.

Fully vaccinated arrivals will be allowed to home quarantine for seven days.

On December 20, any fully vaccinated traveller who returns a negative test will not have to quarantine.

The territory has recorded one new case of COVID today taking its cluster to 26.

Authorities are expected case numbers to rise after mass testing in the Binjari Indigenous community near Katherine.
