Next Monday, the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide will face off in the college football national championship game in a battle of two Southeastern Conference titans. The pair earned the right to the rematch thanks to wins in the semifinals over the Michigan Wolverines and Cincinnati Bearcats, respectively, on New Year’s Eve.
The two teams met earlier this season in the SEC championship game, with ‘Bama dethroning the then-undefeated ‘Dawgs to claim the conference crown. Round two looks to be a bruising battle as the bookmakers expect this one to be close.
According to the Tipico Sportsbook, the Bulldogs remain a 2.5 point favorite over the Crimson Tide with the over-under also staying at 52.5 points. Georgia’s money also remains at minus-150 while Alabama’s stayed at plus-122 as of 10 a.m. EST Tuesday, Jan. 4.
Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. EST on Monday, Jan. 10, inside Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana. The game will be broadcast on ESPN and livestreamed on the ESPN app.
