StarTrack workers strike for 24 hours

Thousands of deliveries could be delayed as StarTrack workers walk off the job.

The industrial action started at midnight and is expected to go for 24 hours.

StarTrack, owned by Australia post, is the last logistics company represented by the Transport Workers Union that hasn’t reached a new enterprise agreement offer.

The unions say StarTrack has delayed bargaining for the new deal after it expired in December 2020.

Staff are demanding better pay and job security.
