Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s election campaign feels like it “began today”, according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.

On Monday, the Prime Minister visited the Hunter, where he announced a $1.5 billion partnership with the Port of Newcastle for a hydrogen hub.

“Scott Morrison’s closest aides once told me that he is better when he is behind,” Mr Clennell said.

“Then, just as in 2019, he can play opposition leader.
