Scott Morrison, state premiers in war of words over vaccine mandates

A war of words has erupted between Scott Morrison and state premiers over COVID vaccine mandates and pandemic powers.

The prime minister has come under heavy criticism after urging leaders to relax vaccine measures.

Of particular concern was Queensland’s vaccine roadmap, with Mr Morrison saying Queenslanders should be allowed to “get a cup of coffee in Brisbane regardless of whether you’ve had a vaccine or not” once the state reaches 80 per cent double dose vaccination.

And Scott Morrison is not backing down, declaring it’s time for governments to get out of people’s lives.
