Queensland has declared all of southern Tasmania a hotspot as it enters a three day lockdown.

From 1am Sunday, anyone arriving in Queensland from the 12 affected local government areas will have to enter hotel quarantine.

Residents arriving before Sunday are being advised to monitor for symptoms.
