PM warns Djokovic will be on the ‘next plane home’ if unable to provide proof of exemption

Novak Djokovic will have to provide proof of his medical exemption before he’s allowed to play in the Australian Open.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison warned Djokovic could be on the next plane home if he’s unable to provide acceptable proof for a COVID-19 vaccine exemption.

Home Affairs Minister Karen Andrews says Djokovic still needs to satisfy requirements at the national border.
