Perrottet will set a ‘very respectful tone’ when he opens debate on euthanasia bill

Sky News host Jenna Clarke says she thinks Premier Dominic Perrottet will set a “very respectful tone” when he opens the debate on euthanasia in the New South Wales parliament.

The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting Mr Perrottet will argue against voluntary assisted dying as the first speaker to respond to Independent Sydney MP Alex Greenwich’s bill on Friday.

“I think it says a lot that he’s decided to stand up and be the first speaker to this bill, specifically when his argument will be more about wanting more services and resources directed at palliative care,” Ms Clarke said.
