NSW might call in debt collectors on Queensland government

Sky News host Paul Murray says the NSW government “may have to call in the debt collectors” to go after Queensland’s government for not paying a $40 million hotel quarantine bill.

However, the Queensland government has decided to “go in, and go in hard” against people who have not paid their COVID fines.

“So, they send the debt collectors after little people who owe the Queensland government money,” Mr Murray said.
