A man has been charged with high-range drink driving south of the NSW border town of Tweed Heads while on his ride-on lawnmower.
He allegedly blew almost five times over the legal limit.
A second test, at Tweed Heads Police Station, returned an alleged reading of 0.243, NSW Police, said.
He was arrested and charged with high-range drink driving (second offence), drive with interlock device not functioning/circumvented, and use unregistered class-A motor vehicle on road.
He is due to appear at Tweed Heads Local Court on May 2.
