NSW forests to transform for eco-tourism

Thousands of hectares of forest in New South Wales are being transformed into a new multimillion-dollar ecotourism and adventure park.

The announcement of the project, located on the edge of the Blue Mountains among 30,000 hectares of forest, boasts features such as the country’s longest zipline, rock-climbing and 35 kilometres of BMX tracks.

The $50 million announcement also marks the end of a decades-long battle to safeguard the local environment from mining.
