Is Govt Providing Rs 2.20 Lakh to Women Under PM Nari Shakti Yojana? Check Truth Behind This Viral Video

New Delhi: A YouTube video doing rounds on social media claimed that the Central government is providing cash amount of Rs 2, 20,000 to all women. However, debunking the false information, a fact-check by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) said that the claim made in the viral YouTube video is fake. The Bureau clarified that no such scheme – Pradhan Mantri Nari Shakti Yojna- is being run by the Central government.
