Drone to rescue trapped dogs on La Palma

Authorities on the Spanish island of La Palma have granted permission for a drone operator to rescue three dogs trapped by lava.

The animals have been stranded for a month, with food and water airdropped to them over the past two weeks.

A drone has been equipped with a net and will have just four minutes to rescue one of the dogs so it does not run out of battery power.
