China’s city of Yuzhou ordered into lockdown

China is continuing to pursue its goal of zero COVID infections – ordering a second city into lockdown and creating a Winter Olympics bubble.

Stay-at-home orders have been imposed on more than a million people in Yuzhou after three asymptomatic cases were detected.

People are being told to remain indoors while the transport system and non-essential shops have been closed.

The strict measures also remain in the city of Xi’an where residents have been confined to their homes since December 23.
