Behind Enemy Lines with UGA Wire

Stetson Bennett has played great in the absence of JT Daniels, but the reality is that both quarterbacks have had success in this Todd Monken offense. The Bulldogs have been able to get teams off balance with run pass options and both power and zone running schemes that have helped set up deep shots down the field.

Bennett is leading the SEC in explosive pass rate (21.9%), while missing three starters at receiver. When Daniels led the Bulldogs earlier in the season, the offense looked just as explosive. In the time Daniels has seen the field since the Clemson opener he’s been almost perfect, especially on third down, completing 9 of 9 passes for 118 yards and 2 touchdowns. I expect Bennett to get the start, but I won’t be surprised if we see Daniels take some snaps.
