A man has been charged after a pedestrian was hit by a car on the New South Wales Central Coast last night.
Police allege the driver of a white Ford Ranger ute crashed into a parked Volkswagen Amarok before hitting a pedestrian and fleeing the scene about 7.30pm.
The 42-year-old pedestrian was treated at the scene and taken to Gosford Hospital in a stable condition.
A 26-year-old man was arrested in Bateau Bay about 10pm.
Police allege he became aggressive and assaulted a male senior constable.
A white Ford Ranger was seized, along with $5945 cash.
The man has been charged with a string of offences including cause bodily harm with a motor vehicle and assaulting an officer.
He’s been granted strict conditional bail. His licence was suspended.
